From the beginning when I called Precision Door, I felt like this company cared about their customers. They were at my home within three hours. Found out that my garage door couldn’t be repaired. Gave me a cost estimate. Took the old garage door away. Came a few days later and installed a new garage door. It wasn’t the one I ordered, but they didn’t have the one I wanted and needed to order it. A few weeks later, the garage door that I wanted is now installed. I can’t believe how quiet it is!!

Michael, the technician, was here early because an appointment for 10 had cancelled. He fixed my old opener but I asked him what a new opener would cost and he sold me on the genie with a backup battery. That way I don’t have to disengage it to get it opened when the power is off. I was very pleased with Michael and will recommend Precision to anyone I know that needs a new opener. Thanks for your prompt service!

They corrected the mistakes, made by Superior Garage, just one month ago, at no extra cost to me. Those corrections would have been hundreds of dollars. What company does that nowadays? I am an 87 yr old man who has always been a do-it-yourselfer. But when our garage door malfunctioned recently, I decided to engage Precision Door to do the repair. Your repair man arrived on schedule, but he soon started making statements about the current condition of the door which I knew to be untrue. I realized that he was blatantly lying or ignorant of how to fix the door. He gave us quotes for extensive new parts costing a couple thousand dollars which I knew to be a big rip off. Since then, I got the manual out and fixed it myself, no new parts needed. Once I read the manual and understood what needed to be done, I fixed it in less than an hour. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and think he was a "bad apple" and doesn't represent the values of your company. He either needs some extensive training or needs to be let go. I certainly hope he doesn't represent the values of your company.

Over the last number of years, I've had what I consider shoddy work done by a small local competitor that kept them coming back several times in almost in as many years. These guys are expert at what they do, are honest and use high-quality parts. We take our garage doors for granted until there are problems! I was familiar with a few local service providers but this company came well-recommended. With the ease of my phone, I booked an appt online, received confirmation of my problem(s) and received a call back from one of the co-owners. Given the multiple problems I had going on. I needed a new spring, new cables, new tracking, a new lower rubber seal complete refurbishing, lubrication of my hardware. They utilize the highest quality Titanium cables I've seen. The comparision to what was previously installed was not even close. I was back in business the next day with a quality job well-done!

We chose precision door service based on your reputation here in Peoria, as well as your television advertisement. Our garage door was accidentally struck by one of our cars when it was backing in and the door was stuck with rails which were twisted and rollers, which actually fell out on the floor. Brock Orwig was the technician who came out and I must say that he was excellent. He was courteous and quite professional and allowed me to go into the garage with him prior to his starting work, he showed me all of the problems with the door and explained what had happened and what needed to be done to repair it. He offered me two separate options for repair, including a full overhaul and replacement of all older parts as well as a less expensive focused repair only for the specific issues which had occurred the day before. We chose to have the door, fully overhauled and have been very impressed with the quality of his work and the care which he took to complete the job. It turns out that this door is actually 21 years old and it's never been serviced as far as we know. A second garage door in the same building was apparently installed by the homeowner from Menards. Brock showed us that many of the parts were made of plastic and compared it to your steel parts. We plan to have the second door overhauled in a month or so and at the same time, weatherstripping is going to be installed again since it is so old that it has cracked in many places.
