Tech Richard Simmons arrived, inspected the situation. He promptly explained what had happened and what needed to be done. Then he went to work in my hot garage for two hours and I ended up with a stable, quiet door that worked perfectly again.i am so glad I called Precision! Website and ad on T.V. is how I chose Precision. I believe my workers name was Richard. He was very nice and helpful. I couldn't get my garage door open the night before. Called Precision and he came within an hour and half. He tested my opener and it was decided I needed a new garage door opener. Mine was old and looked it. I decided at least 25 years or more. I was given a choice on different openers. He answered all my questions. I really like the new one especially the automatic light that comes on when going out the back door. I had seen a local news report concerning people in the community being taken advantage of so called garage door companies. So when I needed help, I made sure I contacted a company who was reputable. I had seen your ads on TV and my son pulled your info as recommended when trying to find a service to respond when my door opener failed to work. Your technician was prompt. current and listened attentively when I was describing what had happened and what we had tried ( to no avail!). He spent a good deal of time trying to find the problem, updating me as he went, and finally determined the old opener had reached the end of its time and I would need to get a new opener. He explained that he had 3rd placement openers with varying levels of price and assets. There was never any pressure of which one I should purchase- and even offered to leave and let me think it over if I felt more comfortable doing so. He waited patiently and offered reminders when I texted my son and then proceeded to complete installation, synced it to my phone, and checked to a make sure it worked properly. He was at all times pleasant, courteous and made b my e feel at ease with the entire process. I was very pleased!

From the beginning when I called Precision Door, I felt like this company cared about their customers. They were at my home within three hours. Found out that my garage door couldn’t be repaired. Gave me a cost estimate. Took the old garage door away. Came a few days later and installed a new garage door. It wasn’t the one I ordered, but they didn’t have the one I wanted and needed to order it. A few weeks later, the garage door that I wanted is now installed. I can’t believe how quiet it is!!

Michael, the technician, was here early because an appointment for 10 had cancelled. He fixed my old opener but I asked him what a new opener would cost and he sold me on the genie with a backup battery. That way I don’t have to disengage it to get it opened when the power is off. I was very pleased with Michael and will recommend Precision to anyone I know that needs a new opener. Thanks for your prompt service!

I am an 87 yr old man who has always been a do-it-yourselfer. But when our garage door malfunctioned recently, I decided to engage Precision Door to do the repair. Your repair man arrived on schedule, but he soon started making statements about the current condition of the door which I knew to be untrue. I realized that he was blatantly lying or ignorant of how to fix the door. He gave us quotes for extensive new parts costing a couple thousand dollars which I knew to be a big rip off. Since then, I got the manual out and fixed it myself, no new parts needed. Once I read the manual and understood what needed to be done, I fixed it in less than an hour. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and think he was a "bad apple" and doesn't represent the values of your company. He either needs some extensive training or needs to be let go. I certainly hope he doesn't represent the values of your company.
