Over the last number of years, I've had what I consider shoddy work done by a small local competitor that kept them coming back several times in almost in as many years. These guys are expert at what they do, are honest and use high-quality parts. We take our garage doors for granted until there are problems! I was familiar with a few local service providers but this company came well-recommended. With the ease of my phone, I booked an appt online, received confirmation of my problem(s) and received a call back from one of the co-owners. Given the multiple problems I had going on. I needed a new spring, new cables, new tracking, a new lower rubber seal complete refurbishing, lubrication of my hardware. They utilize the highest quality Titanium cables I've seen. The comparision to what was previously installed was not even close. I was back in business the next day with a quality job well-done!

We chose precision door service based on your reputation here in Peoria, as well as your television advertisement. Our garage door was accidentally struck by one of our cars when it was backing in and the door was stuck with rails which were twisted and rollers, which actually fell out on the floor. Brock Orwig was the technician who came out and I must say that he was excellent. He was courteous and quite professional and allowed me to go into the garage with him prior to his starting work, he showed me all of the problems with the door and explained what had happened and what needed to be done to repair it. He offered me two separate options for repair, including a full overhaul and replacement of all older parts as well as a less expensive focused repair only for the specific issues which had occurred the day before. We chose to have the door, fully overhauled and have been very impressed with the quality of his work and the care which he took to complete the job. It turns out that this door is actually 21 years old and it's never been serviced as far as we know. A second garage door in the same building was apparently installed by the homeowner from Menards. Brock showed us that many of the parts were made of plastic and compared it to your steel parts. We plan to have the second door overhauled in a month or so and at the same time, weatherstripping is going to be installed again since it is so old that it has cracked in many places. I could not be happier with the service I received from Precision Garage Door. I easily made an online appointment for the day we got back from vacation as one of my garage door springs broke the morning we departed. The technician arrived before the scheduled appointment time and had my estimate to me in less than ten minutes. I agreed to everything recommended due to all parts being onsite and time estimated to repair. All items were repaired or replaced in under two hours and I could not have been happier. We called Precision because you were open on Sunday. The motor for our current garage door opener was hanging by only one bracket and we deemed it unsafe. Molly scheduled the service call and she was helpful, friendly and professional. Richard was the tech who “saved us”! He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable! I called on New Years Day needing my garage doors to be repaired and Brock came out the same day on the holiday and spent about 4 hours to completely replace the motors and all of the equipment so that both garage doors would operate perfectly. Great and speedy service. Brock and partner repaired my tension spring with ease. In and out in under a hour. Shared great feedback on questions I had, and new products on the market that would be a upgrade from my current garage door setup. No high pressure sales tactics. Felt comfortable with them the entire time and arrived on site within my requested time slot. Provided a call when they were on the way, and I would recommend them over other companies in the area. The repair was fairly priced and the garage performs as well as it did prior to the tension spring snapping. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

We appreciate that the tech came out sunday morning and at least got our door fixed enough to manually open and close it but it was really rough and not completely level. due to it being a commercial motor he couldn't look at the motor but thats not his fault. We had a second company come out to look at the motor and they had to do some adjustments to the previous work on the door. I appreciate what he did do but unfortunately we had to pay the second company to fix some of the repairs they other guy did. I didnt know before calling that our door was considered commercial all I knew was it was an emergency situation and we needed to get the door unstuck.
